From design phase to final creation, the process can take 5-8 days depending on many factors (longer if you want fore-edge paintings). Quality art takes time. Please keep this in mind if you have a specific date by which you need it.
Fore-edge paintings (those tiny hand-painted watercolors on the exposed page edges) are an incredible way to have a truly one-of-a-kind item, and make unforgettable gifts. Please allow 2-3 days per detailed edge.

I asked Dre to do a fore-edge painted version of my wife's favorite book. I provided a few pieces of inspiration art and Dre drew from them to make an AMAZING design. She even suggested some extra cool additions like adding quotes to some customized end pages. It currently holds a featured place on my wife's bookshelf. Dre is da best!
My younger brother and I - who are both combat veterans of the US Army - asked Dre if we might commission her to cover The Gates of Fire which is a favorite book of both my brother and I. Dre immediately excepted our request and dove in with gusto to the project. She had never read the book so she ordered her own copy to read it first so that she might best understand how to design the covers. I was so impressed with her desire to understand where we came from and we gave her complete creative license to do what she felt was best. The end result was so much better than we could have ever hoped for!
My brother and I requested a book binding for one of our favorite Steven Pressfield books--Gates of Fire--about the spartan battle against Xerxes invading forces. As veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan the book holds deep meaning. What did we get? Only a thing that is now one of my most cherished possessions!
The binding is amazing but it's the art work on the cover and on the inside that just shows you that Dre did her research. Heck, she even was the book...and that is clear by the work she put into it.
